Gabriela Anderson is a Legal Assistant at Wilson Law Group. She assists with a variety of immigration matters, such as family-based petitions, visa processing, adjustment of status, naturalization, asylum, and removal defense. Gabriela’s mother and sister immigrated from Romania, and growing up in a bicultural household and multicultural community led to her interest in other cultures, immigration, and human rights. She pursued these interests by studying Spanish, volunteering in ESL classes at Open Door Learning Center and CLUES, and interning throughout college at the Immigrant Law Center of Minnesota and Catholic Migration Services in Queens, NY. Gabriela has lived in Mexico and Ecuador and enjoys traveling back to visit her friends there. In her free time, she can be found playing the piano, guitar, and Mexican-style accordion. Her favorite part about working at Wilson Law Group is learning about her clients’ stories, helping them reach their goals, and being able to make a positive impact on people’s lives.
