Alison R. Brandell-Douglas is an Associate Attorney with Wilson Law Group, where she practices immigration law. Prior to joining Wilson Law Group, Alison served as an adjunct professor at the University of St. Thomas Law School and worked for a private immigration law firm. She has also served as an Attorney Advisor at the Immigration Court in Fort Snelling, Minnesota and worked in refugee resettlement in Minneapolis.

Alison earned her law degree at the University of St. Thomas.  Before law school she graduated from Luther College with a degree in Chemistry and Spanish. She also spent time completing computational chemistry research at Boston University.

Growing up surrounded by the constantly evolving immigrant communities of Storm Lake, Iowa, Alison developed an interest in Latin America and immigration law.  She has lived in both Cuenca, Ecuador and Lima, Peru where she learned Spanish and fell in love with the Andes Mountains and ceviche.
