Brittany S. Bakken is a Senior Attorney at Wilson Law Group where she focuses on family-based immigration law.  Brittany is licensed to practice law in the State of Minnesota, and is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association.  Brittany earned her Juris Doctor degree magna cum laude at the University of Minnesota Law School, and was admitted to the Minnesota bar in 2013.  While in law school, Brittany worked as a supervising student attorney in the Civil Practice Clinic representing clients in dissolution, custody, and other civil matters.  Brittany was also a student attorney in the Child Advocacy and Juvenile Justice Clinic where she represented minors in petty criminal matters and Guardians ad Litem in protective custody and termination of parental rights cases.  In addition, Brittany was a judicial extern for the Hon. Joan Ericksen at the United States District Court in the District of Minnesota, and served as an Articles Editor for the Minnesota Law Review.

Before law school, Brittany earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Carleton College with a major in Fine Arts where she graduated magna cum laude and with distinction.  While in college, she served as a volunteer and advocate for victims of sexual assault.  Brittany has studied abroad in the Cook Islands, New Zealand, and Australia, focusing on aboriginal art and culture.
