Bronwen Risse-Connolly

Bronwen is a Legal Assistant with Wilson Law Group. Before coming to Wilson Law Group, Bronwen started her Spanish education in her early years in Wisconsin by going to a dual language immersion school. Since then, she has focused her education on language and community.

While studying at UW-Milwaukee, Bronwen participated in university research and conducted oral histories from local immigrant community organizers. Bronwen studied in Buenos Aires, Argentina during her undergraduate years and focused her studies on human rights in Latin America. During an online internship with an Ecuadorian nonprofit, Bronwen helped research the prevalence of HIV/AIDS in same-sex couples from Quito, Ecuador. Bronwen also volunteered with the Milwaukee Justice Center in helping low-income Wisconsin residents with matters surrounding family law.

In her free time, Bronwen likes to spend time outside, especially hiking, camping, and canoeing.
