Gabriela Anderson

 

Biography

Gabriela Anderson is an Associate Attorney at Wilson Law Group, where she focuses on immigration law. Gabriela is a graduate of Mitchell Hamline School of Law with summa cum laude honors. While in law school, she was Managing Editor for the Mitchell Hamline Law Review and President of the Immigration Law Student Organization. She also served as a certified student attorney for the Office of the Washington County Public Defender, the Office of the Minnesota Appellate Public Defender, and the Great North Innocence Project. Additionally, she externed with the Statewide Expungement Program at the Office of the Minnesota Attorney General. Before and during law school, Gabriela worked as a legal assistant and law clerk at Wilson Law Group.

Before law school, Gabriela earned her Bachelor of Arts from Tufts University with magna cum laude honors in Sociology with a concentration in Immigration, Globalization, and Transnationalism. As an undergraduate student, she studied abroad at the Universidad Veracruzana in Xalapa, Mexico, and at the Universidad San Francisco de Quito in Quito, Ecuador.

Gabriela’s Romanian heritage and growing up in a bicultural household and multicultural community led to her interest in immigration and other cultures. Her favorite part about working at Wilson Law Group is getting to know the clients and being able to make a positive impact on their lives.

In her free time, Gabriela enjoys traveling, playing the piano, watching Netflix, and rescuing cats.
