Renee Varghese is a legal assistant at Wilson Law Group. She assists with matter such as asylum, naturalization, and family-based petitions. She has bachelor’s degree in Legal Studies from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a master’s degree in Education from Loyola University Chicago. As an undergraduate she studied Spanish for a semester in Seville, Spain. She also had the opportunity to study Arabic while she lived in the Middle East for the past three years. Renee’s interest in immigration developed when she volunteered to work as an English teacher for Syrian refugees in Beirut, Lebanon. Her favorite part of her experience teaching in Lebanon was hearing her students’ stories, which carries into her work today. She enjoys hearing people’s different motivations for immigrating to different countries. In her free time, she enjoys reading, traveling, exercising, spending time with family and friends, and cooking.
