Yarina is a legal assistant at Wilson Law Group. Her primary tasks are to assist on a variety of immigration matters including visa processing, naturalization applications, and family-based petitions. Having immigrated with her parents from the town of Peguche, Otavalo located in Ecuador, she has called Minnesota her home from the age of three. As a first generation immigrant, she knows firsthand the struggles and barriers that immigrant families face. Thus, she is able to relate to many of her clients and the situations they are facing. Yarina is committed to working alongside these families in a compassionate, understanding, and efficient manner to achieve their immigration goals. Prior to working at Wilson Law Group, Yarina volunteered with the Immigrant Law Center of Minnesota, which is a non-profit organization that provides free legal services to families who live below the poverty guideline. Yarina enjoys barbecues, and watching old movies. In her spare time she helps out her parents with their small business located at the Midtown Global Market.
